I feel really stupid right now.

I sold all of my Skale fins before leaving pre-searing. Now that i want to craft some armor for my elem, i don't have any scales.

I paid for the storage in post-searing and i've read that it's shared by all of the characters.

I still have a character in pre-searing. Is it possible to get the scale from him and put them into storage so that my character in post-searing can get them?

It might sound stupid, but i haven???t found any scales in post and i'm getting desperate.

Yes you may do that but your character in pre searing must travel to post searing in order to access the storage feature..

and also, don't sweat it. You'll be okay for a while with your pre-searing armor and scales aren't hard to come by. Just salvage everything you find and you'll end up with quite a few scales.

Hell, I took my warrior all the way to lions arch with pre-sear collectors armor. Only thing I bought post-sear was a new helmet.

night raven there is one way to do it, but i dont know if its against the rules.
you could trade to a friend that has a character about to go post sear, then they go post sear and you meet them in ascolon city and they trade you the items back on your post sear char.

The Skale Fins from pre-sear aren't the same skales required for armour crafting...

ye, you need actual "scales: common crafting material"

And peanut... I wonder how many people (myself included) actually find themselves staring at your avatar...

yes, but you can also salvage other stuff for scales too. I don't recall what exactly but I've got around 350 of them.

yep, I was just saying that is probably where he got the majority of the scales in pre searing (I know I always bring a ton with me since they are so easy to find)

Thanks for all the great input!

I fond out that Gargoyles drop scales occasionally, but it's quite rare.

After a while i had enough scales and cloth to craft a new pair of Pyro Gloves and Pyro Boots. Looks kinda weird with the rest of my purple armor.

But, i'll have to solo for hours to find enough scales from Gargoyles and half-digested mass from Carrion to craft the leggings and body armor.

Level Moron : I have no friends!

I mean, none of my friends are gamers.

I'll have to ask if anyone in the guild i'm in is still in pre-searing.

Well if anyone knows about a good place to find scales in early post-searing (besides from traders), i'm all ears!
